Our history

Operating since 1997 and based in the West Midlands, we’ve benefited from excellent transport links to anywhere in the UK and throughout Europe for 20 years. Since our beginnings, Copper & Optic has experienced growth, which has led to investment in new premises and state-of-the-art ESD (Electrostatic Dissipative) facilities – amongst much more.

Following a wealth of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry, Copper & Optic’s founder, Phil Latham, set out to create a company that valued long-term customer relationships, delivery performance and quality – above all else. Accommodating the growth of technology whilst still maintaining product excellence has led to Copper & Optic being considered an industry expert in cable and harness assemblies, fibre optics and industry training.
